Garet Speakman (Owner)

Garet is a professional drummer with over two decades of experience behind the kit. A graduate in music business with a background in music recording, production, performance, and entrepreneurship, he has built a thriving career in the industry. His teaching approach is personalized and results-driven, helping students of all levels develop confidence, technique, and musicality while keeping lessons fun and engaging. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player looking to refine your craft, Garet is committed to helping you reach your full drumming potential.

David Sullivan

A seasoned professional drummer born and raised in San Diego, David began his drumming journey at age 13. His passion and dedication led him to earn a BA in Jazz Studies from SDSU while performing in some of the city's top ensembles. Today, as a freelance musician performing with several bands and contributing to musical theater productions, David brings his extensive experience and creative energy to inspire our students every day.

Matt Bozzone

A drummer, percussionist, and composer, Matt has been working full-time as a musician in San Diego since 2011. He has toured across the U.S., performing at festivals, arts centers, clubs, and community events, especially in the global groove scene. Since 2016, Matt has been sharing his passion for drumming with students of all ages, tailoring lessons to their unique interests and needs. His approach focuses on making learning fun while helping students explore the joy of music. With experience in a variety of styles and a deep appreciation for music from Africa and Latin America, he brings a diverse perspective to his teaching.

Dylan Marks

An international touring drummer with over a decade of teaching experience, Dylan brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world performance expertise to his students. When he’s not playing massive festivals with technical metal pioneers Atheist, he’s crafting personalized, goal-oriented lesson plans to help students develop their skills. While he has extensive experience in metal drumming, he is equally well-versed in jazz, rock, and pop styles, making him a versatile and well-rounded instructor.
